Planning the lift
Can the rotator perform the proposed side lift?
Describe the disabled vehicle and intended load path, including the available setup ground. The permitted load depends on the operating chart, slew sector and support arrangement. Rotation alone does not establish that a side lift is permitted.
How does capacity change as the load moves?
Use the rating for the required radius and load path. The maximum lifting figure is not available throughout the working envelope. A demonstration records one tested setup; the chart still defines the limits at other positions.
Is an underlift included?
Check the selected equipment schedule. Its transport arrangement is relevant only when an underlift is fitted.
What is removed or packed separately for shipping?
Identify equipment removed for shipment and list loose rigging, hooks and accessories. Provide the actual stowed dimensions for the carrier's handling plan.
