Reach and equipment options
What outreach is available at the required height?
Find the work position on the selected boom's working envelope at the intended basket load. The height and capacity figures alone do not show the outreach available at every load. Check clearance along the full boom path, not just at the final basket position.
Is this an insulated platform?
Electrical protection must be specified separately and supported by records for the selected equipment. A telescopic boom is not necessarily insulated. A motion test verifies movement, not insulation, so electrical protection needs its own verification when ordered.
Which dimensions should I give the carrier?
Provide the completed truck's actual stowed height and overhang. Base-chassis dimensions leave out the fitted platform.
How are platform accessories recorded?
Identify removable accessories and supplied control equipment in the packing record. Distinguish loose items from installed equipment so both can be checked.
