They describe different uses. Apply documented occupancy limits to ladder access and any separate rating to a fitted platform.
Which evacuation methods can the ladder support?
The intended access or rescue method needs its own approval and procedures. Ladder height alone cannot confirm that an evacuation method is permitted.
Can it be treated as a crane?
Do not infer crane-lifting approval from the ladder’s load description. The proposed function must be supported by equipment documentation.
Which transport dimensions should be checked?
