Field coordination requirements
How is the command workspace specified?
Define operator positions and the equipment and interfaces needed for the work. Body dimensions alone do not describe the installed communications capability.
Can I add the generator and UPS ratings?
No. They serve different functions and do not form one continuous power rating. Review each against the connected loads. Include deployment duration so the power and cooling arrangement can be specified for that period.
What can a simulated network test establish?
Its results apply to the documented configuration within the recorded test limits. They do not establish compatibility with every live network.
Are masts and antennas part of the base specification?
Check the selected equipment schedule for each mast, antenna or other deployed item. The truck description does not automatically include them.
Which records should stay with the communications equipment?
Keep the equipment inventory and supplied configuration records with the handover documents. Transfer sensitive access details separately.
