Calculation inputs
Estimated agent mass(water volume × water density) + (foam volume × foam density) + other agent mass

Enter every input in the first group. Use 0 only for a confirmed zero quantity.

How to use this tool

Convert planned volumes to mass with stated densities, then add equipment, crew and reserve in the chassis calculation.

  1. Use project-approved operating fill volumes.
  2. Confirm actual agent density from the supplier data.
  3. Transfer the result to completed-vehicle and axle-load review.

Keep a record of your inputs

Add the project ID, responsible person, date and revision before using the worksheet to compare suppliers or make a technical decision. Record where each input came from. Leave unknown values open for confirmation; do not fill a gap with an assumed catalogue figure.

The result helps with calculation or recordkeeping only. A competent reviewer must check the units and operating conditions against the selected equipment documents. That review must also cover destination requirements, interactions between systems and the evidence needed at acceptance.

Assumptions and limits

  • Default densities are not inserted; use project-approved values.
  • Tank, piping and equipment mass are separate.
