Choose a worksheet for the next step

Start the requirement with the buying checklist, then use the technical worksheet to compare supplier data. At inspection, check the finished vehicle against the approved scope. The shipping and after-sales forms help you continue the record after release.

Different people may be responsible for specification, inspection, transport and service, so each task has its own form. If you combine the forms, keep the revision and responsible person clear for every part.

Adapt each file to the project

Adapt these working documents to the project before using them for formal checks. Identify the vehicle and approved revision, then add destination rules and acceptance criteria. Name the responsible parties; the templates are not universal standards.

Remove sections that do not apply and add checks for the selected body and equipment. Each completed check should refer to an agreed requirement, so the record shows what was inspected and what the result means.

Control revisions and completed records

Give every issued worksheet a revision, owner and date. Keep the blank template separate from the completed project record. Store supporting photographs and measurements in the vehicle file, along with certificates and records of resolved exceptions.
